  • Record. Don’t just use the scales, record your measurements and even your heart rate, blood pressure and cholesterol levels.  Not only will this help you better understand what your body responds to, it’ll help you see the benefits of all that hard work!  If you’re having trouble losing weight, record you food intake in a food diary, you might just notice a bad habit that was sneaking by unnoticed! 
  • Celebrate. When you drop a dress size, buy some new clothes!  When you drop another ten kilograms, treat yourself to a new DVD.  Celebrate all victories big or small with anything you desire, except your bad habits! 
  • Hydrate.  Drinking water is the most basic habit you can take up for good health.  It’s extremely important, for good health, better looks and more success on the gym floor. 
  • Slip, don’t fall.  Give yourself a break.  If you have a slip up, look at what triggered it and learn from it for next time – and then move on.  A slip needn’t mean a fall.
