My name is Trish Pollock and I was born in Finley, NSW, and grew up on a property 1 hour outside of Coleambally, on my Families Merino Stud.
Why did I become a PT:
I have been a Group Fitness Instructor at Xceler8 since 2005, which during that time I have grown a passion for fitness for myself and others.
I now want to share my passion for fitness with others and help them to reach their own personal goals.
Hobbies/Interest Outside the Gym:
As I am a qualified Relaxation Massage Therapist, I enjoy helping others gain a relaxed state of body and mind.
I have three boys that I love to watch and share their own personal achievements (especially when it comes to Rugby League)
One of my passions is Obstacle racing, I have completed various different Obstacles from Tough Mudder, Spartan, Miss Muddy to Mud Sweat Bears, and lots in between. My favourite thing about competing in these events is knowing your own strengths and weaknesses and getting through each obstacle as a team, therefore building a strong sense of friendship and comradery.
My fitness interests are Boxing, working with Kettlebells/running Kettlebells technique classes, I also enjoy working with Mums including Pre-Post Natal, and I am hoping to complete specified training to enable me to run children’s training groups.
My greatest achievement would have to be giving birth to my three boys and watching them grow up. I was also extremely proud when I completed my first Tough Mudder event with my close friends.
What do you have to offer as a Trainer:
I can offer guidance and support as they begin their journey to reach their goals, and continue offering them encouragement throughout.
What makes you different from the other PTs:
As I am a mother of three boys I am able to communicate easily with other Mothers and also Children, this also enables me to guide both Pre and Post Natal mothers through their journey as I have been their myself.
I also think that being a Female may give me more to offer as some people may find it comfortable training with a female when they begin their fitness journey.
I have also completed my Certificate IV in Relaxation Massage with will enable me to see the bodies weaknesses and tighter areas easily.
